I love this place. It's so cozy and quaint. Your local hole in the wall/mom & pop breakfast spot. Finally, Quality inexpensive food with some culture in Delco!
A taste of Ireland with a Mexican /Latin fusion.
Friendly service.
A Delco hidden gem. -

I've passed this tidy little store front coffee shop too many times to mention. Decided to finally pop in for breakfast.
Showed up "late", or around 8:45 on a Sunday and was happy to get one of 6-8 small booths right away.
Inside is no less quaint. The owners maintained the heavy Irish decor while influences of their Mexican heritage are on the menu! Where else can you get an Irish Breakfast perfectly wrapped in tortilla to make an Irish breakfast wrap.
The front of the restaurant doubles as shelf goods from the UK and Mexico. -

I've been wanting to check this highly rated place for months so when my friend wanted to meet for breakfast I knew the place we should visit.
There is metered parking across the street so don't let the busy street scare you away.
The restaurant is a small business so make sure you pay in cash if you can. Pedro is the cook and he is very friendly so it was easy talking to him. The waitress (didn't catch her name) was very nice as well and very attentive.
There is a small grocery store in the front which is great to pick up local items. The restaurant is set up with booths unless there are 2 of you .. you can sit at a smaller table.
My veggie omelet was very tasty. I really enjoyed the homemade home fries. I added onions but I could have skipped that.
My friend had eggs and sausage and she enjoyed it. She is a frequent customer.
I saw some other tasty looking items I want to try for lunch.
So.. I'll definitely be back. -

Nothing fancy but well worth a visit!! Ive been here a few times for Saturday breakfast with my 9 year old. Coffee is delicious - and that's important! Potatoes are to die for... fresh and not burnt in any way. My daughter has tried the french toast the pancakes and the bacon. All were above expectations. My breakfast sandwiches and perfect and the breakfast burrito was huge and spot on. The eggs were super finely scrambled in with the beans and other ingredients ~ almost like a tofu scramble. I kept hearing ppl mention this place on the delaware county restaurant reviews page on facebook- and i am
glad we gave it a go. Never would have noticed it otherwise.
Also wanted to add that the woman working here who I get the feeling is the owner is super friendly and accommodating! -

Hibernia is one of those Delco places you've probably passed by 1000x times but haven't noticed. It's a damn shame because it's one of the only places you can get not only an Irish Breakfast but ALSO Huevos Rancheros in the area! That's right, the two best breakfast options under one roof. Hibernia is a small little place and is quite homey, with a little Irish/Mexican market up front where you can buy household necessities and ingredients, and the restaurant in the back. If you aren't up for the Full Irish Breakfast I can understand, and so do the owners as they offer a Half Portion which is more than filling. I will definitely be coming back!
